STOCK or SECURITIES DONATIONS

Donations of stocks and securities are an attractive option for individual donors to support registered charities such as HEALCANADA. Gifts of publicly-traded stocks and securities are exempt from capital gains tax. Tax receipts will be issued based on the closing price on the date when the shares were transferred to HEALCANADA'S brokerage account.
